Michael Biven is a systems administrator and a former firemen. He currently lives in Frankfort Kentucky and enjoys a good bourbon, Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott films (preference to Scott’s earlier work), Alastair Reynolds novels, writing and playing the viola.
This site is built with WordPress with a few plugins (Aizatto’s Related Posts, Akismet, FeedBurner FeedSmith, Google XML Sitemaps, Wordpress Automatic Upgrade and WP Super Cache) and is hosted by Laughing Squid. Using Transmit and TextMate for changes (I’ve not moved over to a desktop publisher like MarsEdit), Mint for statistics, Paparazzi for screen shoots and FeedBurner. The name “Put Together Quickly” comes from a couple different time-lapse films from Boing and Airbus where an aircraft is put together quickly that I watched at the end of an aircraft crash / rescue class when I was a firemen.
